Chad Adams | Host

He was first elected a commissioner in 1998 and recently completed his second term. He is a graduate of UNCW, attended graduate school at NC State University and is a Fellow of the NC Institute of Political Leadership.
In 2002, Chad was recognized by the NC Junior Chamber of Commerce as one of five Outstanding Young North Carolinians for his political and community work. in 1998, He was recognized by the National Junior Chamber of Commerce as one of America's Outstanding Young Leaders and was given the Charles Kulp Memorial Award.
Chad has appeared on CNBC as well as numerous television stations across the state. His op-eds have appeared in dozens of newspapers and he has also been the primary guest host for the "Take A Stand" radio show in Asheville.
Aimee Bowen | Producer

Aimee Bowen hails from southern Virginia, where she first became
interested in production technology through working with her father on
various projects in his recording studio. Aimee graduated cum laude
from Radford University in June 2006, where she obtained a BA in Media
Studies with both Journalism and Production Technology concentrations
and a minor in Anthropology. She served as Executive Producer of the
student run television station, Radford on Camera, and held the
position of Chair of the Student Media Committee both her junior and
senior years. Aimee also served with high level administrators on
several student advisory panels for various faculty and staff searches
at Radford and helped form the Internet based radio station "Radio
Free Radford".
Aimee came to Hometown Wilmington Media in January of 2007 and first signed on as
evening news anchor, shortly after moving up to produce the Morning
Beat, now Mornings with Chad Adams, and onto taking on responsibilities as Operations Manager of The Big
Talker FM as well. Though she initially moved to Wilmington with hopes
of breaking into the film industry, Aimee notes that "Radio has been a
natural transition and the cultural Anthropology classes have proven
to be interesting assets when it comes to breaking down, researching
and analyzing the realm of politics."
Joe Catenacci | News, Traffic, & Weather

Joe Catenacci graduated from Caldwell College (Caldwell,NJ) in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in broadcast/journalism. He played division II baseball at Caldwell College and at Brookdale Community College (Lincroft,NJ). While attending Brookdale, their team participated in the 2003 Junior College World Series in Millington, TN.
Although Joe concentrated on sports reporting throughout his collegiate career, he received the opportunity to broadcast news at The Big Talker FM in November 2006. Joe admits his transition from sports to news reporting has been a bit rocky, but he is dedicated to bringing relevant and credible news to southeastern North Carolina.
